Junior Getto DOGS Biography

Our school was troubled, not the best, but for us a native. At that time, many were divided into rappers and metallists, and both hated each other. Now everything is the same, but not as much as then. In the courtyard in which I grew up, all the older boys listened to the rap, so I became a rappor. I studied with the Eldinos Eldinos from the seventh grade, we were friends, listened to rap together, but then we did not think about our own work.

In the 9th grade, Junior Olzhik joined us. He quickly joined the class team and Squent with us. In that year, in winter, we held an action against AIDS, and we were asked to come from our school.

There was no choice and we had to compose our first text, which was very simple. We got a minus, rehearsed, and first went on stage. Despite the fears that everything will be shit, we were escorted with applause, although I forgot half of the text. We liked it, and we decided to do this more seriously. I always loved dogs, in my opinion, they are the most devoted, kind and open creatures on Earth.

Therefore, I wanted the name of the group to be connected with dogs. So the name Ghetto Dogs was born. By this we wanted to express our devotion to rap, street and each other, as well as as a dog devoted to the owner to the end. A little later, I went to study in the States for a year, in New York. There I found out even more about hip-hop. There he is everywhere: on the street, in the subway, in schools.

You can go in the subway and see how some guy stands and reads, not embarrassed anyone. It is normal there. There I had a strong desire to write texts. Returning to Kazakhstan, I decided to continue what I started with Ghetto Dogs. At first, these were home notes on the computer. But, of course, it was not that. Then they gave me the phone of one guy who had a home studio.

There we recorded our first song "Ghetto music." It was a new experience for us, unusual, exciting and strange. It's like a drug, you try it for the first time and then it is difficult to stop. Thus began the period of regular records. Now we already have twelve songs, we want to bring this number to fifteen and release the first album. MC Ghul and Bagman worked at the same studio. We got friends with them during this time.

Exchanged ideas, received valuable advice. We recorded all the tracks at the Bagman Labs studio, everything except one, this is a “letter to my people”, which was recorded at Rosa Roslava Roslan at Ruslan Studabaev. We took off two video clips for the songs "Why" and "look into my eyes." But we have problems with rotation. It turns out that to show a video clip, even if it is high -quality and interesting, you need to pay good money to the channel.

But we do our music not for fame and money. We have something to say, and we want to share this with others.
