Biography of Braginsky
People still watch comedies created together with Eldar Ryazanov, which glorify love of life, justice and kindness. Childhood and youth Emil, or Emmanuel, Veniaminovich Braginsky, former a Jew by nationality, was born in November in the family of Moscow professional doctors. Gynecologist Veniamin Pavlovich and surgeon Sofya Borisovna lived in the center of the capital and raised two children.
At school, the boy fell into the company of peers representing the intelligentsia, so he read the books of classics and wrote stories and poems. At the age of 9, he lost his mother, so he moved to Anna's sister, and in such an environment it was simply impossible to think about creativity. Father met another woman and did not follow the development of his son, who decided to continue the family tradition and entered the medical institute.
The war interrupted his studies, and Braginsky went to the construction of fortifications, hoping that the ingenuity, arms and legs would not let him down at a dangerous moment. Unfortunately, the young man could not avoid injury, and he was sent to the evacuation to the old city of Dushanbe. He worked in a local hospital, helping seriously wounded, and in his free time he mastered chess, completely surrendering to this game.
In the post -war period, a new hobby made an Emil of the correspondent, to whom the newspaper Sovetskaya Latvia instructed to illuminate the All -Union tournament. Then he collaborated with sports observers and wrote independent articles about culture, introducing readers of Soviet magazines with events that changed the world. Most of all, Braginsky loved to recreate the biographies of famous artists, some of which turned into scripts and plots of dramatic plays.
When the work “In Square 45” formed the basis of the adventure film, the author decided that significant progress was outlined in his life. Personal life in his youth was the classmate of Irma Shalyto, and then the family was replenished with the son of Victor, who entered the art faculty. Judging by the rare photos from the archives, the couple was happy in marriage and, despite the dense schedule of Emil, spent many years together.
Emil Veniaminovich left journalism in the year and went to the Moscow Theater with the text of the debut comedy. Soviet director Alexander Aronov agreed to make a production after he opened the manuscript and read several chapters. At the play “The opened window”, the audience was dying of laughter, especially since the main roles were Evgeny Leonov and Maya Mengelet.
Behind the curtains, the screenwriter met with filmmaker Eldar Ryazanov, and later the men created an outstanding creative duet. The touching detective “Beware of the car” was the first joint work of the authors, but at the beginning of the filming, the leadership of Mosfilm ordered the process to stop. The work resumed after the publication of the work in the literary journal, and the finished comedy aroused unprecedented audience interest.
Another recognized masterpiece of Braginsky was the film “The Irony of Fate, or with a slight steam! People sincerely laughed at the hero Evgeny Lukashin and actually wanted to help him at least something. The success of the comedy led to the replenishment of the joint filmography with Eldar Ryazan and the appearance of the paintings “Zigzag of Good luck”, “Garage” and “Service novel”.
Talented screenwriters awarded honorary titles and state awards, which were most often awarded to politicians and professors.
Separately, from the co -author, Emil created a number of performances for the theater, which, after setting up on the stage, went to the cinema. Among them stood out the “game of imagination”, “almost funny story”, “vanity fusses”, “singing teacher” and “seven person detective”. The death of Braginsky had a heart attack in the year, and according to the forecasts of cardiologists, he had several days to live.
However, after discharge from the Moscow hospital, the screenwriter forgot about health problems and continued to create films to delight the audience. Only after 23 years, having returned from a foreign trip, Emil Veniaminovich felt poorly at Sheremetyevo Airport with sudden death due to a heart attack that happened after the plane planted, the only wife was present.
