Biography of Haji Dazhaev
I am one of them. Mentally gave him an “underground nickname” a philosopher-esthet. A little later, he conducted an educational course, and again - with high reviews of the participants. It began to be interested in his activities more carefully: of course, it was decided to visit the DA Vinci Clinic, which is led by Haji, and talk in order to introduce our readers closer to him.
My first impression of Haji was true; It is not without reason that his clinic is named Leonardo da Vinci - one of the greatest creators and geniuses of the Renaissance era, who was a great artist, sculptor, musician, architect, researcher of natural science, talented inventor in one person. Well, DA Vinci Clinic specializes in the field of aesthetic dentistry and implantology, working at the junction of science and art.
The specialists of this clinic make up an individual plan for transforming a smile for each patient, using not only the latest achievements of science, but also following the principles of the great Leonardo da Vinci: “Beauty and harmony are impossible without observing proportions and naturalness.” Dear Haji, how did your arrival in dentistry take place?
My arrival in dentistry was not programmed. My mom and dad, as well as the older brother - physicists, techies. It was assumed that I would go in their footsteps, at the end of school I will go to the Polytechnic Institute in my hometown - Makhachkala. In the eighth and ninth grades, I was intensively engaged in physics and mathematics. But in the summer, after the ninth grade, something changed in me, switched.
I suddenly realized that I do not want to be an engineer, this is not mine. One of his friends prompted the idea: is it not better to go to the medical one, you can in dentistry. I thought and realized that this is a good idea. In case of failure, you could go to study on a dental equipment. Since childhood, I loved to work with my hands - to make, burn, make all kinds of layouts, so that such a way did not scare me.
I began to prepare in this direction, began to more in deeper engage in chemistry and biology, the knowledge of which was evaluated in the entrance exams. These exams fell for a year and were successful for me. I was admitted to the dental faculty of Dagestan GMI; He graduated from his studies in the year, receiving a diploma of a dentist. He acted in one country, and completed his studies in another.
This period coincided with the difficult time of changes - political, social, and in the world of education. The USSR narrowed for me to Russia. I understood that my education and improvement must be continued. In the year he went to Moscow, entered the residency of the faculty of improvement of dentists to the department of orthopedic dentistry with a course of implantology.
In the year he graduated from residency. How did your practical activity develop after the completion of post -dyeine education at the Academy? After all, you have received education at the junction of dental eras - it was a time of revolutionary technological transformations, the transition to a new modern level. After the residency ended, I began to work in private Moscow clinics, but I constantly felt: time moves forward, and qualitative changes in dentistry come with it - qualitatively new technologies using new materials, new digital equipment, new software are “bursting” to the country; I have not enough professional knowledge.
As my practical activity developed, I began to attend many continuing education courses in Russia. Gradually, he realized that in Russian, unfortunately, there is very little quality information for a doctor-a orthopedic dentist in the field of teeth prosthetics with both natural teeth and implants. There is also very little information in Russian about dental aesthetics, about a systematic approach to the full rehabilitation of patients with very worn -worn, and destroyed destroyed teeth.
There is not enough information on how to make new teeth not only beautiful, but also functional, so that this beauty does not collapse, ceramics will not shake and not cracked; so that the teeth under restorations do not get sick and do not shatter; so that caries does not develop under the crusts on the teeth; So that the chewing muscles and the temporomandibular joint are not sick.
To answer these questions, I needed to find experts in this area - recognized experts, the best ... I started my search and found them. But in order to get knowledge from them, I needed to professionally master the English language.
Therefore, my first task was to improve their possession to such a level as not to depend on translators; Freely understand, communicate, ask questions, discuss in English with colleagues from other countries. Having solved this problem, I started the following: I went to study with the same foreign experts - the authorities that I had previously chosen for myself. In Europe, I consider Dr.
Mauro Fdeani as such for myself. His clinic and the training center are located in the city of Pezaro in Italy, on the banks of the Adriatic. In the USA, John Cois became my experts, its center is located in the city of Seattle, as well as Dr. Frenk Alcohol Center of which is now in the city of Scottsale, Arizona. They created their own training centers, which I visited and continue to visit.
The process of training and advanced training is an endless process. Most of the courses I took the training center Frank Spi, and, in fact, most valuable information - really applicable in practice - I received it from this specialist. I consider Frank the best teacher in orthopedic dentistry. Today you yourself conduct educational courses - both in Russia and abroad, they are highly in demand by doctors.
How did you come to teaching? It so happened that after I began to go abroad - to improve the qualifications and apply the new knowledge in practice, colleagues in Russia began to contact me with a request to share this knowledge with them. At first, I did not even assume that I myself would begin to teach. It seemed to me that teaching is not mine. But some of my friends and colleagues turned out to be quite persistent, this ultimately led to the fact that I nevertheless settled for writing the course-first on the preparation of teeth, and a little later-to plan orthopedic treatment.
I overcame the fear of public speaking and began to conduct these courses, first in Moscow. Oddly enough, but they liked the colleagues and gained popularity. I did not make any special efforts to promote them; Interested colleagues themselves began to find and invite me to other cities of Russia, and then beyond its borders. The European Association of Orthopeda dentists read a report on the EPA symposium-this symposium took place in September in Istanbul.
In February, he made a report on the Congress of Digital Dentistry in Yerevan. I was invited to make a report this summer at the Microvision symposium in Prague, as well as at a symposium in Slovenia. Today is the age of digital technology, in fact, we met at the Congress of Digital Dentistry. And what digital technologies help you in your work now? This is, first of all, a digital smile design.
This means modeling a new smile initially on a computer, using a photograph of a patient and computer programs. Such a preliminary computer modeling of a new smile helps a lot when drawing up a treatment plan, when communicating between an orthopedic doctor, a patient, a dental technician, as well as specialists of related specialties, for example, a dentist surgeon, a periodontalologist.
This helps to avoid mistakes and alterations at the stage of creating wax modeling of new teeth and ceramic products. The patient can evaluate in advance what is offered by a team of specialists; The layout of the proposed new teeth can be transferred to the oral cavity, make photo and video shooting; Demonstrate the layout to the patient in order to verify the correctness of planning, and get its approval.
Such planning allows you to anticipate the final result in advance. In addition, the patient can participate in the creative process of creating a new smile and express his wishes and preferences in the form, size, texture, degree and nature of the transparent cutting edge, the color of new teeth. What problems do you have to face in your practical activities?
In years, in Russian dentistry there was a serious transition from an obsolete type of stamped-soldered steel or gold teeth to cermet crowns. Then the materials necessary for this appeared. But, unfortunately, many doctors and dental technicians did not have enough knowledge and understanding then how to use these new materials and technologies. As a result, a very large number of complications appeared during prosthetics.
There are complications of both immediate, that is, appearing immediately after prosthetics, and delayed, when in several years the teeth are destroyed under the crowns, an unpleasant odor appears, and periodontal diseases occur. Such patients need to fly, reserving. And this is always much more complicated than primary prosthetics. It may include a whole range of measures to rehabilitate the state of periodontal, additional treatment of teeth, remove hopeless teeth, installation of implants, sometimes with the plastic of hard and soft tissues of the jaws, the manufacture of aesthetic temporary crowns and, finally, for constant prosthetics.
So I have accumulated a lot of experience in this kind of this kind, I have been engaged in such patients for at least 15 years. A special category is patients who have not previously been carried out, but their teeth are very strong and worn out. It so happens that the teeth are ostens almost to the gingival level. Such patients need a special approach. Invaluable knowledge of creating a systematic approach to the rehabilitation of patients with highly worn teeth, I received from Dr.
Frank Spi. Today you are highly in demand, your fame among colleagues in the dental world is constantly growing. You studied at continuing education courses in France, Italy, Germany, Austria, USA, took part in symposia and conferences held in Russia and abroad. Probably, such an active life position explains the trust and election of you as the president of the Eurasian Association of Aesthetic dentistry.
Tell our readers a little about the formation of this association. It is always interesting to meet, learn the new and exchange experiences with single-minded colleagues-both domestic and foreign, especially when progress in our specialty is observed in the world of science, equipment, technologies and all new items to be discussed together. Currently, our association is under formation.
Its full name is the Eurasian Association of Aesthetic Dentistry. It will unite dentists of several countries of Europe and Asia - Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Russia, Ukraine, colleagues will also be able to enter it from other countries. The main goal of the association is information and educational, conducting symposia and discussion clubs. I was entrusted with becoming her first president - for three years.
Are you engaged in scientific activities? I am not engaged in science, my sphere is the reception of patients, and now teaching, the exchange of acquired experience. I would like to answer you with Pearl from Maximovsky Yu. But from the scientist - a practical doctor does not work. ” You still have everything ahead. I practically do not ask about a hobby - it is literally read by the atmosphere of the living room of your DA Vinci clinic.
I will share my impressions with our readers. Our conversation takes place in the next dental clinic, in the living room - in the living room. True, this hall is more like for waiting for a chamber hall of a unique library or museum with luxurious exhibits: with books, including real folios on history, philosophy, poetry, religion, geography, etc.
