He is considered to be among the harmonists, poets, bards, veterans of the Great Patriotic War, military officers-internationalists, employees of the Ministry of Emergencies, rural workers and ordinary hard workers ... Laureate of all-Russian and international competitions, the author of more than three hundred songs about their native Moscow Region. Sergei Viktorovich Boriskin was born in April of the year in Orekhovo-Zuev, in an ordinary working family where labor, humor, folk art, Russian song and harmonica were highly appreciated.

Back in elementary grades, the guy began to write poetry. The picturesque nature of the small homeland and the grandfather’s apiary were inspired, where the first artistic images and rhymes were born among flowers and bees. In childhood and adolescence in the childish environment, it usually did not do without street brawls, fights. Young Boriskin always carried a police whistle with him.

And, when the peers were fond of a fight, he whistled at the “whole Ivanovo”, that is, for the whole new construction site, he tried to reconcile the warring parties. Half a century has passed since then, and the nickname “whistle” has stuck firmly to the musician. In his school years, he learned to play the guitar, performed in the vocal and instrumental ensemble at creative evenings and weddings.

The first entries in the workbook of Boriskin were made at the famous Likinsky bus factory, where our fellow countryman began to work as a locksmith immediately after graduating from high school. But the master, seeing the musical abilities of the worker, frankly told him: “Sergey, you were created more for art, let's please people with songs, and the workshop is still waiting!

With his faithful life partner, his wife Galina, Sergei, raised four wonderful children. Son Alexei and three daughters, Catherine, Anna and Vera - everyone is perfectly singing! Many Orekhovozuevites no longer represent creative evenings and weddings without the Borisks, without their author’s songs and perky ditties. Since the year, the creative family of the Boriskin has been one of the twelve best musical families in Russia.

And more than twenty years, since the year, Sergey Boriskin has been included in the first “golden ten” of the famous harmonist and composer Zavolokin, among the best harmonists of the country. Our fellow countryman was friends with the People’s Artist of Russia, TV presenter, author of the most popular television program “Play, Harmony” Gennady Dmitrievich Dmitrievich Zavolokin for more than ten years, from the end of the year unexpected for all tragic death in the summer of the year.

For many years, Sergey Boriskin has been the leader of the Holy Source charity movement. Member of many television and radio programs. The initiator of the construction of the first monument of harmony in Orekhovo-Zuev-the musical symbol of Russia. The organizer of the annual festivals "Saturday" and "Front harmon". And how many interesting creative meetings for many years Sergey organized with musical associates in the city park of culture and rest!

Locals were happy to hurry to gatherings with harmonies. So the folk glory of Boriskin was strong, he believed in himself, and they believed in him. Since January, Sergey Viktorovich Boriskin is the co -chair of the Union of Harmonists of Russia. A talented harmonist and poet conducts more than three hundred charity concerts in the suburbs and throughout Russia annually: in social centers and orphanages, boarding schools for disabled people and boarding houses for elderly, secondary schools and military units, in rural clubs and city courtyards, as well as in veteran organizations and labor collectives.

In the repertoire of Boriskin - folk songs, the best hits of the Soviet era, modern hits, copyright works. Sergei knows and can perform more than two thousand popular songs from memory. This year is special for the Boriskin family: 60 years since the birth of the hospitable owner and the two hundredth anniversary of the harmony ... Creative meetings and festivals are being prepared in both Native Orekhovo-Zuev, and throughout the Moscow Region and Russia.

This year, friends proposed to nominate the candidacy of the Orthodox harmonist Sergei Viktorovich Boriskin for the high rank of “Honorary Citizen of the Orekhovo-Zuevsky city district”.
