Marco Mendoza is not at all like a person who was hopelessly a cold day ago. The musician is vigorous, apparently energetic, freshly squeezed orange juice, chosen from a large menu, helps and clearly enjoys his Russian voyage.

Marco entered the stage in the composition of world -famous groups like The Dead Daisies, Thin Lizzy, Whitesnake and promotes his own project. The latter is not that there are enough stars from the sky, but confidently exists at the club level, and the local rock community could more than once make sure that Marco and his gang is just a hurricane on the stage.

Many years ago, Mendoza met Stas Namin, and friendly relations often grow into joint projects. Marco played with the Flowers group on their anniversary show, and recently accepted Namin's proposals to become part of the new composition of the Gorky Park. A kind of combat baptism for musicians gathered under a famous brand was a festival in honor of the flight of the center of Stas Namin.

At two large shows, Marco Mendoza performed with his group, and along with Gorky Park. When the festival passions subsided, Marco agreed to share his impressions with the "health". Of course, we could be on stage for more than an hour, play the most different music, but the festival is a festival. In general, I am very glad to be here. For a musician from America, this is not so simple now.

I was in Moscow in May, and all this looked like some kind of madness. I then traveled to Europe with my group. And after the performance in Paris, it was necessary to fly first to Istanbul, and then to Moscow. Immediately for a rehearsal - I was invited to perform as part of an orchestra, then a concert, and again to Paris, because the next day a concert is also planned there.

After this, we can say that ready for everything. And if the doors are open, I will be happy to speak in Russia. And you already played rock when this group broke west ... - I remember how I first heard them on the radio in California in their nineties. He had no idea who it was, but the sound was just what a cool. And then I realized why he turned out like that. These guys had their own approach to the performance and production of songs.

In fact, they played traditional Russian music, which suddenly became rock. Of course, it is great to touch the legend, to become part of it. Therefore, when my friend Stas Namin called me to the new Gorky Park, I immediately agreed. Judging by your touring schedule, you are an employed person ... - I am a very busy person! Even too busy! Probably, in my place, someone would definitely complain about fatigue.

But I'm not complaining. And why should I get tired? From music? She burst into my life when I was about fifteen to sixteen years old, and made me what I am now. I enjoy my life every day. Of course, another musical project will take time.

But everything can be organized so that both work and relax. Of course, it’s hard to constantly fly through the ocean to my family with the musician and his wife five children. But I hope that they will be able to live in Europe for some time, and we will often see each other. Now we are writing in the studio with the Gorky Park and we will do this almost all the time while I'm here.

This is the same glam rock with which the group became popular in the last century. Now there are constantly talking that Rock has died, that hip-hop rules the world, and all in this spirit. In your opinion, how much is the truth? My long -standing friends of Kiss are selling tickets for their shows more than in their entire story. My schedule is painted ahead for a long time.

Recently, the traditional record-industry as a business of large labels has come to naught, and the artist’s popularity is visible primarily in concerts. Of course, rock has changed over the years, but he is still here. Not sure about the seventh dozen. The following year I am sixty, so I will let me know what it was laughing. But for now I'm happy. Travel, I speak, I am signing, what else to wish for?

How did you "become infected" with rock and roll? And, of course, radio, there I first heard Creedence Clearwater Revival, Doors and other cool music that just turned my life. What are you usually listening to? We have a new album, and, probably, I still can’t hear from it. There is a new track of Gorky Park and sketches for my next album. And if not your own, then something from the icons of rock, Santana, for example.

There is still silence in my set list. Sometimes I just need it. In silence, words come for new songs.
