Shaukata Galieva Biography

The years of his youth fell on the years of the war. The twelve -year -old teenager had to master adult professions - he was an assistant to the foreman on the collective farm, the foreman of the loggers, the accountant and district statistics. Despite the difficulties of wartime, he did not leave classes. As he himself remembered for sure, he wrote his first real poem on April 21.

But three more years will pass before the future poet decides to submit his works to the public. He was noticed. The debut in such an authoritative publication inspired the young man, gave him an incentive to further work. It also affected his career. In the year, he was appointed executive secretary of the district newspaper "Farmers of Brigadasa". In the year, he moves to Kazan and becomes a literary employee of the Chayan magazine.

Later - the highest literary courses in Moscow, the work of a professional writer, the position of editor of fiction in the Tatar book publishing house. In the middle of the x, the first collections of S. poems come out in this period in his work are dominated by the topics of love for nature, for his native land.

The poetry of Sh. Galiev attracts not only the lyrical intonation, the psychological novelty of the penetration into the spiritual world of the individual, but also the moral integrity, purity, and internal harmony. With the release of the poetic collection “Kamirsch”, Shaukat Galiev becomes known as a children's poet. In total, he will write more than thirty books on a children's topic.

For children's books published in the years, he will be awarded the State Prize. Tukai, a prize to them. Alisha and the International Prize G. Galiev for many years was a member of the board of the Union of Writers of Tatarstan, the chairman of the commission for admission to the Union of Writers, the head of the creative workshop for children's literature. Now he is a member of the editorial board of the newspaper Sabantuy and the magazine Sabiga, chairman of the Creative Heritage Commission of X.

By decree of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan in the year of Sh. Galiev for merits in the development of Tatar literature, the honorary title of the People’s Poet of the Republic of Tatarstan in the verses and poems of Galiev - the authenticity of the feelings of the lyrical hero, whose childhood and youth came in the years of the Great Domestic War. He died on May 7 in Kazan.
