D Kogan biography

Vitali from Kogan, the famous violinist gave a concert for war veterans on Wednesday the Samara Philharmonic Hall was filled to the limit. Here a charity symphony concert was held with the participation of Honored Artist of Russia, violinist Dmitry Kogan, dedicated to the summer of victory. Honorary guests were war veterans. The concert took place thanks to the support of the United Russia party, the junastrum of the bank and the Foundation for International Humanitarian Assistance and Cooperation.

Dmitry Kogan was born in a musical family: grandfather is an outstanding violinist of the 20th century Leonid Kogan, grandmother - a famous violinist and teacher Elizabeth Gilels, father - violinist and conductor Pavel Kogan, mother - pianist Lyubov Kazinskaya. From the age of six, Dmitry began playing the violin, graduated from a music school, the Moscow Conservatory and at the same time the Academy.

Sibelius in Helsinki. His first performance with a symphony orchestra took place when he was 10 years old. Today Dmitry Kogan is a famous musician and public figure. His dream is to open the Far Eastern Conservatory. His last big tour of the cities of Russia is dedicated to the Flight of Victory in the Great Patriotic War. For him, he chose time not by chance: the musician believes that this date needs to be remembered after the festive salutes.

Inviting war veterans, he emphasizes that he is always glad to see students, students and teachers of music schools at his concerts. I think this is very important, especially in our country. There is a very big problem in Russia: people who want to listen to classical music often cannot afford it. Tickets for concerts of the road, and the Culture TV channel is one for all.

In addition, he should cover a lot: literature, theater, cinema, visual arts and then, not everywhere his signal is accepted. In large cities there are still Philharmonic subscriptions, Samara in this regard is a very prosperous city. And to move somewhere away - there is nothing at all. And in the whole country, the picture is negligent. Therefore, I feel my responsibility and engage in the promotion of classical music.

They often ask me the question of how I feel about the “pop” performance of the classics, referring to the violinist Vanessa May and some other musicians of this kind. This, in my opinion, is no longer propaganda. It’s the same as decreasing Leonardo da Vinci “Mona Lisa” to the picture of a mustache, jeans, a hat. It seems to me that this does not need to be done. But even one can judge by him that it was a great composer.

Tango "Four Seasons" by Astora Piazzolla will also sound.

D Kogan biography

This is popular music, but also classical at the same time. The classic also has its hits. ” After short communication with journalists, Dmitry Kogan hurried to the stage where the orchestra was already waiting for him. Mikhail Shcherbakov waved a conducting stick, and a rehearsal began, which lasted more than an hour. The musicians were so carried away that the beginning of the concert lingered for almost half an hour.

For several minutes, the secretary of the regional branch of United Russia Igor Noskov and the chairman of the regional council of veterans Ivan Sakharov took a few minutes. And then the first chords of the “heroic gate” of Mussorgsky, and then the long -awaited “chakon” Vitali, which turned out to be really beautiful, sounded. Not wanting to waste time on the interval, the orchestra performed the "Dance of the buffoons" from the opera Tchaikovsky "Snow Maiden".

Then the promised Piazzolla sounded, and the tango "Winter" sounded twice - on the bead. Under the curtain, Mikhail Shcherbakov replaced the conductor's wand with a violin and a duet with Dmitry Kogan performed a cheerful musical joke.
