Madana Mohan Prabhu is an amazing Vaishnav, who, literally from the first minute of communication with him, amazes with his deep wisdom, gently shrouded in warm and sensitive care for the interlocutor. What is the most interesting - this concern is completely conscious and is within the framework of Vedic wisdom. Each conversation with him or his lecture is always the deepest immersion in the Vedic philosophy and culture of the highest in its sincerity and love of relations between living beings that amazes with its wisdom.

In the Vaisnavian environment, many devoted belts are grateful to him for the fact that communication with him revives them with faith and purity, which are often lost in complex, difficult trials, everyday life of a reckless modern culture. Having gained the mercy of Krishna, he distributes it very generously, thereby supporting and inspiring with his example, this is first of all, as well as his lectures, to develop relations with Krishna.

Madana Mohan opens the story of his life. I was born in the year in the military family, and therefore I traveled a lot with my parents in Russia. I met the devotees as a student at St. Petersburg University in the year. In this regard, I had a desire to quit my studies. But, fortunately, my spiritual teacher Mukund Gosvami, the president of the temple of Vasudama Prabhu and my mother were able to dissuade me from this.

In fact, it is very important that the devotees have a higher education. It allows them to stand on a profitable platform for communication and preaching. People respect successful personalities who have an education, situation in society, opportunities and at the same time engage in devoted service. People are convinced that Krishna’s consciousness is a philosophy that is not divorced from life, on the contrary - it is practical.

Therefore, the devotees who want to quit their studies or work, I advise you not to do this. The Lord Caitanya, in an interview with Ramananda, said that you need to stay in the place where you live, and just listen to Krishna without changing anything. This craving for listening to Krishna will put everything in places in our lives by itself. At the time when I made this choice, about 20 years ago, it was a mature solution.

I stopped finding answers to questions that interest me, in particular, about the meaning of life. Then I seriously engaged in science, chemistry. After a fairly short time, I realized that chemistry does not give answers to these fundamental questions that every person probably arise. Therefore, I became interested in philosophy. The qualities of followers of consciousness are Krishna, but even more than various philosophical trends, I was interested in the qualities of their followers.

I was familiar with a fairly large number of different directions: Christianity, esotericism and so on. When I met the followers of the movement of Krishna’s consciousness, with their philosophy, then, of course, as a scientist, or at least a person with a scientific warehouse of mind, I tried to question all these arguments. I spent a lot of time in the discussion of various provisions of this teaching.

But what convinced me the most, with all the harmony of this philosophy, with all the fundamental provisions that are contained in Vedic knowledge, these are the qualities of the followers of this movement. It was evident that they not only say the right things, but also, based on strength and knowledge, do the right things and experience joy from it.

It often happens, committing the right actions, we experience a certain tension from this and we have to show the willpower in order to force ourselves to act in this way. For these people, the right things, the correct attitude towards people, to nature, to themselves, were natural and light, like breathing. When I met one person who became my guide on this path, I was primarily convinced of the correctness of his choice by the example of his qualities.

I am sure that exactly the same criterion can be applied to any of the religions. In any authoritative direction of religious and philosophical thought, there are different levels of followers. And I was lucky to meet a man who really lived what he was talking about. I was familiar with a fairly large number of different directions that they not only say the right things, but also, based on strength and knowledge, do the right things and experience joy from this, "the effectiveness of the instructions of Krishna consciousness since I am a chemist by education, I decided to conduct an experiment and follow the principles of this practice without expecting anything.

Moreover, I was deliberately skeptical. However, starting to follow, very quickly I received the results that are predicted by the Holy Scriptures. What I really liked, and that was also fully reflected in the followers of this movement is that Krishna himself in Bhagavad-gita is very tolerant and a bit to those people who go along this path or even think about it or not. The freedom of choice in the minds of Krishna, for example, at the very end of Bhagavad-Gita, when Krishna described all this philosophical knowledge, he told Arjuna: "I described all this knowledge to you, now you decide what to do."The great saints in our tradition explain that Krishna at that moment was ready to repeat again if Arjuna had any serious questions.

This is how God acts - He reveals the true state of things and leaves the freedom of choice for us - to accept this knowledge or not. The foundation of our relations with God is always His love for us, He always takes us, our freedom of choice, which we ourselves determined. God in the minds of Krishna is a sensitive, tolerant, loving and caring personality when I met this aspect of Vedic philosophy, it really inspired me, because I, by nature, is a rather kind person who does not tolerate any violence.

My father is a military man and, apparently, this feeling arose in connection with the lifestyle of my father. I was very inspired when I saw in Krishna, in God described in the Vedic Scriptures, primarily a sensitive, tolerant, loving, caring personality, and already in the second - the Creator, the judge, and the top of the fate. They did not need anything from me. I was surprised, usually people are used to believe that a person who has encountered some new “religious organization” should be ready for the fact that he would be asked for a wallet, a card, a car, an apartment or even a wife can be.

If you summarize my answer, then I was convinced of the attractiveness of the very path of this philosophy - it was exhaustive, answered all questions without contradictions. I was convinced of the effectiveness of this philosophy in practice. People, sincerely following this path, get predicted results. Here I saw people who can be equal to, from whom you can learn, whom I really want to love for the amazing qualities that they possess.
